Dhrubanka Sarma submitted his PhD thesis in November 2025 and joined our institute in December 2025. He qualified the JEST in 2019 and 2020 and cleared the GATE in 2020. His research specialization is in Computational Condensed Matter Physics, where he focused on modeling blanket materials for fusion reactors using advanced computational methods.
Deeply committed to teaching and mentorship, Dhrubanka is passionate about guiding students who want to build careers in scientific research. From his doctoral experience, he recognizes the importance of a supportive academic environment, strong conceptual foundations, and good guidance in shaping successful researchers. At the Learning Centre, he works to a research-oriented learning among students, helping them confidently pursue the path of scientific field.
